Anyone going for Memorial Day weekend? My brother and a bunch of other people I know are headed down there. I might join in the action this time. Been in the garage all day, tightening up bolts that have vibrated loose, gave the bike a bath, and a few other things. Gonna buy a chain, fluids, and gas this week. I'll be ready.

Cool. Hopefully I'll be down there. The only thing that would stop me is if my brother leaves Friday morning. If he leaves after work, then I'm there.

Haha. Funny guy. Lol. Actually, I just found out my brother can't get off work on Friday. So, I'll be able to catch a ride with him. Now I just gotta find someone to watch my 3 male dogs while I'm gone. Cause now the woman wants to go too. I might have to leave her behind. Lol.

Can't bring em. One if my Shar-pei's is very territorial and aggressive towards other people and dogs. My lab/dane mix is extremely hyper. I can leave the Shar-pei's outside. They have auto feeders and waterbowls. But the lab/dane mix jumps the fence if I'm not outside with him. Really just need to find someone to come let Samson out and throw the ball for about 30 minutes to run some energy off. Neighbors will be outta town, pops is gonna be at his cottage in the OBX, and both brothers will be at Busco. My mom is beating around the bush. I'll find someone though. I'm not paying to board 3 big male dogs for 3 nights. That would cost me more than the whole trip. I'm sure I can find someone to dog sit for the weekend. Just need to look harder. I plan on being down there.

Oh. I went ahead and loaded up on gas today, since it's only $7.29/gal. It was almost $8 last summer. Ordering a chain and some more 2-stroke oil tomorrow. Cleaned my carbs and rejetted them for warm weather today. Started it up and let it run for a few minutes too. She's ready to go. Bought a new tent too. Don't think I'm crazy when you see my bike inside the tent with me. Lol. Too many people there that I don't know. Maybe I could bring my aggressive shar-pei and tie him to my bike while I sleep. Lmao.

yea i am gonna start cabling mine up to the trailer after the last few trips someone has been seen browsing the campsites at the wee hours of the mornings... was thinking a motion detector light would be a cool idea on the side of the trailer overlooking the bikes

Lol. I'll have to find it, but there is a disc brake / sprocket lock that has an extremely loud alarm on it. If the bike moves, it goes off. I think it's only like $50. Good insurance for camping with your bike, if you don't have an enclosed trailer.
