Ok, I thought someone would have started something on here by now... have ridden two of the last four weekends and other than some trails needing some work, did not notice a substantial difference- at least it cost the same and my double cheeseburger from the snack stand still tasted the same, but seems the winds of change are blowin.

Saw today the website isn't just down, it is gone, and muddymud is trying the keep the old forum going even though it is no longer officially associated with Busco.

Just wondering if anyone has any scoop on what "changes" are coming... Scratch Head

Have already seen one NC ATV park change hands in the last 12 months and it has turned to crap  Mad(Outback), just don't want to see it happen again. Just my 2 cents.

Well Dgaine's....  it's happening again....sad to say.... but I am going to ride my membership out til June when it expires then oh well...guess I will be going to WV to ride or trying new places....Busco's given me some great memories...but I am not gonna continue to go and give my money if the trails aren't going to be taken care of like before....

The www.buscobeach.com belonged to MuddyMudd never Jack...  he is trying to keep the forum going because so many people have been loyal to the forum and have gotton so much help from other's on there he doesn't want that to go away...  he is checking into a few things but is gonna do away with "Busco" on the forum for liability reason's with the park

I'm willing to bet that this site is about to get A LOT more people and message traffic.

Hopefully it won't be too bad, but the Rancher will have a real short future if it does get bad. It's a LONG boring drive for me if things go down hill, I got plenty of places to have fun with the LTR up here.

Bring them on  Most of you were not around when this site use to stay busy. I would love to see that again. Drop some strategically placed links  . I can make a Busco section if needed.

That does suck though i havent been in about 3 years and once my golf cart was finished and my rancher fixed I was going to try to head down again. I use to go every other week or so when I had a membership I have always enjoyed it there.

04-06 the ATV scene was nuts!  I remember when "here" was Pungohboy.com and I was Tidewater ATV.  Fun times, for sure. Our machines spent a year parked in the back of the garage but after I finish some long-overdue work on my beaten old Scrammy, we'll be back to riding again.

ill still be riding somewhere and ill be on here. my atv's wont be going anywhere. itll be nice to see some extra traffic but i dont think the busco forum will go anywhere and maybe busco will have a bit of a recession but hopefully it will come right back and be the awesome place we all remember

I rode Busco yesterday and I think everything is about like it was.  They were working on the trails, but still have some to get to.  As many trails as there are it is hard to keep them all up.  The only big change I saw was the front section past the horse barn has be shut down, but I was told they are trying to work a deal with the owner to get it reopened.  I hope they do as that is some good riding also.  Hope to see some of you there soon.

Do you mean that they have closed off the entire section from the old horse barn to the river? That is a pretty good chunk of change there with some very good riding.

Yeah they are trying to get something worked out with the owner of that part out there....from where that chicken wire fence was with the gates at both ends.....

That is the new website.... but MuddyMudd isn't going to take the forum down right now so still to talk on the forum go to the regular site www.buscobeach.com/forum ....it is still up and running...

Anyone have any info on the "Busco Beach Picnic" on the 16th... is it a pay as you eat or more of a customer appreciation kinda thing and any other special activities planned that day? That is Fathers day weekend and trying to make an informed decision before deciding where to ride that weekend. Thinking about going up to Burning Rock for "Thrills in the Hills"; only $40 per person for the three day event and that inludes the riding fee... weighing options.

Will give Busco a call after work today, just thought I would ask here first. Thanks.

I'm considering going to that also. Let me know what you decide.
